រឿង បេះដូងលាក់ស្នេហ៍ ភាគទី70.C (06/05/2016), Besdong Leak Sne on 06/05/2016
It {commences} in the early {1955s|1954s|1952s} in Ireland, a poor country {in those times|during those times|just}, where {absence|shortage} of opportunity for the country's young is {creating|triggering} them to seek it elsewhere, {mostly|generally} in America. Eilis Lacey is one of those young people, {attempting to|planning to|wishing to} escape not only the limitations but the narrow life Ireland offers. Urged on by her older sister {who desires|who would like} something better for her, Eilis is yet reluctant to leave behind her mom and sister, the only family {she gets|this wounderful woman has|this lady has}, to make the lonely trip by herself across the {sea|marine|water}, {for an America|to an America|to the America} that holds away promise to her but is also an {unfamiliar|unidentified|mysterious} and strange place where she knows no one. But make the {trip|quest|voyage} she does, and this is the point where the movie grabbed {me personally|myself}.
Ireland in its {low income|lower income|thankfully} in the year {1955s was|1954s was|1952s was} not that different from the Ireland of 1928, {the entire year|the season|12 months} my {dad|daddy} left. He was {18|20|17}, the same age as her, and he made the same journey, also alone, leaving behind his father and an {old|more mature|elderly} sister and the {single|only|singular} home he'd ever know in Cork. The {commonalities|parallels} don't stop there. {As much|Numerous|Several}, perhaps most, Irish {do|performed|would}, he left from the same port as {the girl|the lady|your woman}, from the southern Ireland in europe town of Cobh, to help make the same trip across the Ocean. Watching her during the long crossing, seasick and lonely and {packed with} {worries|concerns|anxieties} as she was, my eyes teared up as I projected images of my father into the same situation. Were his {activities|experience} the same as hers? Was he tossing up all the good way across the {tough|difficult|hard} seas? Was he {packed with} the same loneliness and doubt as she? {All those|Individuals|These} comparisons and the performance of the young Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, who inhabits the smoothness of Eilis with every part of her being, made the movie all the more poignant {in my experience|in my opinion|to my opinion}.
Her situation, once she {occurs|comes|happens} in Brooklyn, {differs|is unique|differs from the others} from my father's, yet they are similar enough. {Dad|Daddy} Flood, an Irish clergyman in America, sponsors her for entry into the New World and {obtains|guard|protect} for her a place in a rooming house {for ladies|for females|for girls}, run by a woman from the {Aged|Good old|Ancient} Country. He fits in a job for her in a department store, and he offers her his counsel and {religious|psychic} comfort. For my dad's part, he had {an old|a mature} brother by nine years who had made the same journey from Ireland in europe, and who sponsored him. My dad lived with him after arrival and landed {employment|a career|work}, with the brother's help, as a laborer, {an initial|a primary} step in learning a trade.
